This Training Guide is for educators working with children and young people in secure (or community) youth justice settings.  It has been designed to support educators who are implementing the Skills4Life Curriculum in their settings.

The Guide consists of a theoretical part and a practical part dedicated to the implementation of the project’s curriculum. The theoretical part includes concepts such as the role of prison education in desistance and youth empowerment through non-formal and informal learning. The practical part includes all relevant information on the application of the curriculum as well as specific tips on how to use it.
